EMBERGRAD

Privacy Policy

Plain words, no fog. What we keep, why, and how to make us stop.

What we collect

Only what the game needs to run: your email address (to verify your account, reset your password, and send the alerts you switch on), an optional phone number if you enable SMS alerts, your commander name and everything your province does in play, support tickets you file, and standard server logs (IP addresses and browser info) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

Cookies

We set the cookies a login requires — your session and, if you choose, "remember me" — and nothing else. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics beacons following you across the internet.

Payments

Ember Pass payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store it. We keep only what Stripe tells us: that a subscription or pass is active, and for how long. See Purchases & Refunds.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not show ads. We send email only to verify you, answer you, or deliver alerts and dispatches you opted into — every one has an off switch under Alert settings.

Deletion & your rights

Want your account gone? File a ticket at the Signal Desk or email command@embergrad.com, and we will delete your personal data. Your battles remain in each Winter's history under an anonymous name — round history is the city's memory, but it stops being yours. You can also ask us what we hold about you and we'll tell you, plainly.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the login screen and in a dispatch — not bury it. Questions: command@embergrad.com. This game is operated by Embergrad.
